At the other end of the day, bright light in the early evening blunted how much later-evening light suppressed melatonin, from about 34 percent down to about 22 percent. That was 12 young women, so treat it as worth knowing rather than known.
Daylight and sleep timing move together on strong mechanism evidence, while a precise morning-light recipe does not have the trial behind it.
